Turn Off the TV is our annual campaign to reduce television watching in the town of Fairfield. For an entire month, children are challenged to spend as many days as they can without watching television. A variety of programs are offered at the library as alternative activities -- pajama parties, professional storytellers, scavenger hunts, and much more. At the conclusion of the program, children are given prizes based on the number of days they survived without television.
